Intermediate & Advanced Guitar Lessons from Charlie

Finding your sound as a musician can be difficult, especially when you are unsure of what will help you progress to the next level of your playing. It can be very easy to get comfortable in playing the same scales and song pieces without seeing the path that continues onwards in your guitar learning journey - I personally know this feeling as it is something that I had to overcome myself.
In my classes, we will set clear pathways that focus on Technical and Stylistic Development before looking at the greater Contextual Elements that we must consider as musicians. Through this combination, my goal is to broaden your musical horizons and to bring out the best player that you can be.
My classes are built upon a foundation of mutual respect and encouragement, in a comfortable environment in which we can nurture your musical talents.

Please have your own instrument and, if applicable, your own amplifier or virtual set-up. A notebook is not required however can be very beneficial.

Über mich
With nearly 15 years of experience under my belt, I have dedicated my life to music and, in particular, to the world of the guitar. I specialise in Jazz, Classical, and Contemporary genres; gaining a wide array of experience through Live & Studio Performance, Session Work, as well as traditional Academia. I have been lucky enough to perform across the country, receive International radio airtime, magazine features, earning endorsements, and learning from the other talented musicians whom I've met along the way. Despite this, I also understand and empathise with the different struggles which can occur as part of a musical journey and have experience of how to break past these obstacles.
What I believe sets myself apart from other teachers is my ability to connect with my students, being able to find a method of learning that is unique to each individual. I am able to understand what work is necessary for development, but I pride myself in being able to find a way of teaching that works for each individual student.
