French is of course a beautiful, lilting language. Who doesn't want to learn it? I'd be happy to help you with that. In our minds we are already going on a trip to France and practice the situations you will encounter there. Depending on your goals and your level, we can go in all directions. Do you finally want to be able to have a conversation with the locals during the holidays? Then we work on that.
Do you have a house in France and you want to be able to talk to all handymen, then we will get to work.
And if you do a lot of business with French-speaking countries, we will choose a business French method and practice with the situations in which you need the language.
In short, we can go in all directions!
Because French is such a lilting language and the pronunciation is sometimes difficult, I like to work with chansons. By singing along you learn the pronunciation naturally and the lyrics of the songs can be the basis for a grammatical topic or a social topic to talk about. Singing in French is no easy task, but as a native speaker and opera singer, I can help you!

We work on pronunciation together, first working on spoken text: getting acquainted with the French sounds and accent and working on how to make sure it sounds French even to a native French! When that's working well, we apply it to the singing.
If you want to practice on your own, I can record the text for you.
I can also help with you with the translation of a piece or questions you may have about a certain word, a saying or the subtext of a piece.
