Imparto clases de violín, viola y teoría musical online para todas las edades, tanto individuales como grupales.

Me gusta que mis estudiantes aprendan disfrutando, por ello, para la preparación de mis clases me baso en métodos y colecciones de canciones de reconocido prestigio que complemento con ejercicios propios y, por supuesto, las canciones favoritas de mis estudiantes, que puedo adaptar a cualquier nivel.
Mi metodología puede adaptarse para enfocarse a los objetivos de cada persona.

Imparto clases de violín, viola y teoría musical para todas las edades, vía online y presencial, tanto individuales como grupales, en mi espacio, en Argentona, o a domicilio, también en Mataró y alrededores.

Education

Obtuve el Título Superior de Música en la especialidad de Violín en el Conservatorio Superior de Música "Victoria Eugenia" de Granada y el Máster de Investigación Musical en la Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.

Expérience / Qualifications

Como docente cuento con cinco años de experiencia.
He impartido clases de violín, viola, agrupación de violín, agrupación de viola, música de cámara, teoría musical, iniciación al piano, música y baile tradicional de La Alpujarra, tanto es escuelas de música como en centros de educación primaria y secundaria.
En el marco de estos centros he tenido estudiantes de 4 años en adelante, preparando a algunos de ellos para la obtención de titulaciones oficiales españolas, ABRSM y Rockschool.

Como intérprete he trabajado en distintas orquestas sinfónicas como la Orquesta Ciudad de Almería, Orquesta Sinfónica de Málaga, Orquesta de la Fundación Indaliana para la Música y las Artes de Almería, Orquesta Ciudad de Melilla, Hispanian Symphony Orchestra; agrupaciones barrocas como 3 Nations Ensemble; y de música tradicional, como Barranco Almerín o El Almez; con las que he realizado numerosos conciertos y grabaciones.

Bonjour,

Altiste professionnel diplômé du CRR de Paris, professeur en école de musique, et musicien dans différents orchestres et ensembles, je vous propose des cours d'alto, de violon, de solfège ou d'écriture (harmonie, contrepoint, orchestration...) tous niveaux.

Je vous accueille dans le quartier du Moulon à Bourges. Les cours de solfège et d’écriture sont également possibles en visio.

Séances de 30, 45 ou 60 minutes selon l'âge et le niveau de l'élève. À titre indicatif : 30 minutes en 1er cycle, 45 minutes en 2e cycle, 60 minutes en 3e cycle.

L'emploi du temps indiqué sur le site est celui d'une semaine type et peut donc varier.

Me gradué de Viola en el Conservatorio Koninklijk de Bruselas, y también como Profesora de música para todos los niveles del Conservatorio de Buenos Aires (Argentina), especializada en viola. Tengo experiencia enseñando música a niños a través de juegos, en orquestas escolares o de forma privada. También doy clases a adultos, ajustando la clase a sus intereses y necesidades. Durante las lecciones, el estudiante también aprenderá teoría musical integrada con la clase de instrumentos.

As a graduated music pedagogue, I adapt my lessons to the student's needs and interests. My goal is to give an as complete as possible preparation in the technical and artistic fields while keeping the lesson a positive, creative and constructive experience for all students, from the youngest children who didn't learn to read yet to more mature people looking for new challenges.

I teach violin and viola from beginner to advanced level and piano for beginners, integrating my lessons with tidbits of music theory in order to give the students wider knowledge and awareness.

Group lessons for two or three students are also an option.

Je me produis actuellement dans un duo de reprises pop-rock voix-acoustique. j'écris des chansons depuis tout jeune, et dernièrement j'ai ré-étudié la théorie musicale pour solidifier les bases, je suis maintenant prêt à tout vous dévoiler !

Hi there,

I'm a professional viola and violin teacher, teaching in person and online, in English, German or Russian.

As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of all ages and levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ in London and have taught on the Senior and Primary Arpeggione Viola Courses. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I participated in their conferences across Europe, including at the European Parliament in 2018.

I also prepare students for music exams, auditions and competitions at all levels, and work with them on music theory, aural and sight reading skills, and can accompany them the piano.

Alongside my teaching I perform internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, including at Kings Place London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Philharmonie Berlin. I am a Hattori Foundation and Villa Musica artist, winner of the Małopolska competition, the Barbirolli Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

I hold a masters degree with first class honours from the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and Bachelors with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I began in the primary department almost 20 years ago.

I'm an avid chamber musician, and am a founding member of Ensemble Textura, a string ensemble based in Berlin, performing renowned works alongside experimental arrangements and lesser known masterpieces. I've also performed with Tabea Zimmermann at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Gary Hoffman and Antje Weithaas at Kronberg Academy’s ‘Chamber Music Connects the World’, with Claudio Martínez Mehner at Encuentro de Santander, and regularly participate in the Open Chamber Music Seminar at Prussia Cove.

Clase de instrumento y formación con lenguaje y armonía (clásica, antigua y moderna sXX). El repertorio lo elije el alumno según sus gustos. El profesor propone para completar el repertorio y busca arreglos adaptados a las capacidades del alumno para sus peticiones. El alumno sale de cada clase tocando la obra vista en clase. Método de enseñanza por mapeo del batidor, con base de lectura dirigida (play along con el profesor) donde el profesor se adapta al alumno. Para un progreso constante, el alumno repite en casa durante la semana lo que ha tocado con el profesor (play along) en la clase anterior. Learn the VIOLIN or VIOLA or CELLO with me! I am a teacher with 15 years experience. I am a specialist in helping students of all ages to feel enthusiasm and motivation for learning their instrument. My lessons focus on the key elements, instrumental technique, reading music and performance skills and are tailored to the individual needs of the student. I believe that the learning process can be both fun and rewarding. I'm happy to take students through music exams, (or not if they prefer without) and my lessons include learning pieces, reading music, scales and technical skills, improvisation, creative music making and more.

I have been playing the violin for over 30 years with nearly 20 years teaching experience, a Masters in Composition (Bristol University) and degree in Popular and World Music (Leeds University). I teach Violin and viola from beginner to advanced level, and also teach cello, beginner to high intermediate levels. I love music, and love sharing the joy and skills of music with all my students, young or older, it's never to late to learn and to enjoy learning!

Toby is an outstanding instructor and works with children very naturally. My 11 year old son has been taking lessons with Toby for over two months and is eager for each lesson. Toby is extremely talented, but beyond that, he engages my son deeply with the music itself, fundamental techniques, music theory, and even the interpretation of the music. Toby is kind, encouraging, and works with students at a level that is appropriate. He has allowed my son to chose music that if fun and interesting to practice, even though the pieces are challenging. In fact, I often sit in to listen to the lessons, as they are so good. My son has had a couple of lessons with Toby while company has been over, and everyone has commented on how amazing Toby is as an instructor. I can not recommend Toby enough and hope to continue lessons with him for a long time.
