I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Uw kind heeft moeite met wiskunde, fysica, chemie of natuurwetenschappen. Het kan de leerstof niet verwerken en u wilt hier iets aan doen.

Als leraar (ingenieur met getuigschrift van pedagogische bekwaamheid) geef ik reeds 25 jaar wiskunde, fysica en chemie en natuurwetenschappen in het secundair onderwijs.
Ik ben zelfstandig leraar in bijberoep en erkend door de Vlaamse Gemeenschap.
Door mijn ervaring en inlevingsvermogen kan ik de abstracte terminologie en oefeningen waar uw kind niets van begrijpt toch verstaanbaar maken.

Ik geef bijles aan leerlingen van het secundair onderwijs tot studenten hoger onderwijs. Van Pythagoras tot tweedegraadsvergelijkingen, logaritmische en exponentiële functies, limieten, afgeleiden, integralen, ... Alles is mogelijk!

Studenten die zich voorbereiden op de examencommissie ondervinden vaak problemen bij de vakken wiskunde, chemie of fysica. Door een intensieve begeleiding kan ik de slaagkansen sterk verhogen. Ik heb erg veel ervaring met de onlinecursus van "Inzicht" , Geogebra, het interpreteren van vakfiches, ... De bijlessen kunnen plaatsvinden zowel op werkdagen als in het weekend.

Leerlingen met dyscalculie worden geremediëerd door het inoefenen van de leerstof, gebruik makend van tips, ezelsbruggetjes en veel geduld. De ervaring leert dat de manier van wiskundig denken bij dyscalculie anders is en daarom een meer gestructureerde, stap per stap-aanpak vergt.

De bijlessen worden elke dag online via Zoom gegeven. Zoom beschikt over een handig online bord waarop we tegelijk kunnen schrijven. Het is net alsof we naast elkaar zitten en op hetzelfde blad schrijven.

Ik bereid de student voor op het toelatingsexamen voor geneeskunde en/of tandheelkunde. Omdat hier veel werk in kruipt, raad ik aan zowel een vroege als welvoorziene voorbereiding te genieten zodat de slaagkansen voor dit examen optimaal zijn.

De vakken die aan bod komen zijn wiskunde, biologie, chemie en fysica. Ook wordt er gedrillt op de stilleestekst van het namiddagdeel. Er worden ook tips gegeven mbt het afleggen van het examen zelf, de structuur van de vragen en hoe je best begint.
