Mi enseñanza se centra tanto en el contenido como en la forma (redacción de ensayos y habilidades de preparación de exámenes).

I specialise in History A Level (Edexcel and AQA) and IB. I am an english native speaker with three years teaching experience in an alternative boarding school in Hampshire and work with a distinctive teaching style adapted to each student's needs and personality. Rather than trying to cram in a bunch of facts I approach history as a curiosity: what makes it interesting? why is it relevant to our lives today? Why, indeed, do they say that history always repeats itself - is it that we can never learn from the past? These are the kind of meta-questions that will run through our classes most of which will be discussion based and will include homework, short exercises, co-marking and assignment of additional readings to complement your syllabus.

Having worked in an alternative school, my approach is very much based on the understanding and ways of learning of each student. Rather than imposing a specific method on the student I try and understand how they work, how they understand the subject and what the university or school requires of them, and help them improve in the areas needed. I specialize in tutoring History and Political Science for school (iGCSE, A-LEVEL, IB) and university (Bachelors). I teach both content and form (essay writing and exam prep skills).
