Reconsider adult education, you are never too too old to benefit from using to learning new technologies, the buzz word form of spoken phrases, or just improve your vocabulary with the rapid changing generation. A mature student prefers to learn in a classroom from a tutor or teacher who is familiar with his/her generation's thinking and can explain adaptations that apply to his/her generation. It's all about communication and related understandability. My lessons offer - English as a second language ----> Explain how adults and teens, though they speak the same language, communicate differently due to terminology, jargon, and slang - English literacy -----> After reading aloud (student’s choice or assigned by tutor) stories or articles, discussing them and gaining an understanding of the context and vocabulary. It is also an excellent way to practice pronunciation and increase vocabulary.
