I love teaching students at all levels, whether you're a beginner or ready for Broadway. I emphasize healthy, safe and sustainable singing for all of my students. My four tent-poles are technique, acting, repertoire selection and audition preparation. I primarily teach using material from all eras of Musical Theater as well as standards from the American Songbook. I also use art songs occasionally to help students develop their skills. As we improve your breath support, increase your range, develop your vocal strength and power, and explore the material that fits you best, we will discover your unique, authentic singing voice. Your singing voice should match the tone and color of your speaking voice, and the different registers of your voice should all sound like the same person. Rather than teaching you how to sing like your favorite performer, I am here to help you learn how to sing as the best possible version of yourself. And to help you learn how to do it safely and reliably.
