I am a native English speaker from Vancouver, Canada and am also fluent in French and have a beginner understanding of Spanish. I currently work as an Instructional Coach at a local International School here in Barcelona. In the past, I have taught online adult English classes for Education First and I have also worked with children who are refugees in both Uganda and Canada. My role was a combination of accustoming newcomers to their new country and providing English language learning services. For the last 5 years, I have worked in the field of GIfted and Talented Education. Three years ago, I left the classroom to pursue my passion for training teachers in innovative and changing pedagogical practices.
