Many people shy away from diving into the deep sea of music theory, as there are a lot of aspects to cover and understand. However, as a fellow novice in music theory myself, I think that we, as musicians, would have a deeper understanding about this subject if we learn together. This class, should you take it, is a class without a teacher; there are only students. As musicians, we learn best while playing. This is how we refine our art, and turn it from a note to a symphony.
