Dear Students, Since my graduation in 2016, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students, from beginners to advanced players, and from ages 7 to 70. Some of my students are professional musicians, while others simply enjoy learning music as a hobby. No matter the level or goal, we all understand how important it is to build a strong foundation—starting with proper breathing techniques and correct embouchure position. What will we learn in class? • How to breathe properly in order to control your sound • How to position your embouchure correctly, and how much pressure is needed for a good tone • How to place your fingers on the instrument and develop finger speed • How to read sheet music and solfège • How to play songs and musical pieces I’m excited to guide you through your musical journey!
