Ukrainian/English for Undegraduates course proceeds from the easiest elements (e.g. the nomenative case of nouns and past tense of verbs) to the most complex (e.g. adjectival and adverbial participles. All of the materials is presented from the point of view of an English speaker learning Ukrainian/English.The course is diveded into twenty three chapters and introduction to phonetics. This division readily corresponds to a lesson or two lessons per week in a twenty -six/thirteen weeks course, including devotion to phonetics and one week remaining for testing and review. The grammatical drills are included. Each lesson ends with a homework drill which is to be done outside of the class and which is intended to be a test of the student's grasp of the material covered.
