My courses are aimed at all levels, from 6th to 12th grade. I also give courses from Bac+1 to Bac+3 for students in history or related courses. From 2021 to 2023, I had the opportunity to teach courses in methodology, historiography and French language at Sorbonne University. These courses, aimed at 1st year history undergraduate students, led me to support a total of 130 students of very different levels and profiles (including those with disabilities). This diversity allows me today to adapt to all students. Currently preparing for the history aggregation, my hybrid status as a student and future teacher allows me to take into account both the realities of the one who studies and the expectations of the one who corrects. I therefore make it a point of honor that the student progresses while gaining self-confidence. The courses for middle/high school are structured according to the needs of the student (identified in the 1st session): revisions with exercises in anticipation of a test, support and writing advice for an assignment due, debriefing on submitted copies and corrected, reinforcement in French language and method (dissertation and commentary, in particular the introductions!)... Classes are preferably held in person. It is also essential that the student is monitored regularly (at least once/two weeks) in order to establish a relationship of trust with him and build his long-term progress.

I have in fact taught French middle and high school students; students from the Luxembourg school systems, from the European Schools in Luxembourg; to French, Lithuanian, Russian students...; to Lithuanian French teachers; to adults of different nationalities learning French in Luxembourg, etc. During the ten years of private lessons in Luxembourg, I carried out different types of lessons and activities: - courses in history, geography, French (primary and secondary schools), French for adults (FLE: French as a foreign language), - preparation for the French bac: French 2nd and 1st year classes (French literature), - supervision of a student enrolled in history-geography at the CNED (National Center for Distance Studies, France), - preparation for the French tests for the entrance exams to the Luxembourg civil service (summaries, discussions, method of the dissertation), - supervision of a summary test in French for a business school competition, - proofreading and correction of dissertations in French (higher education), etc.

The course will be divided according to the periods: First, Ancient Rome, from Romulus to the death of Nero where we will study the different aspects of Roman life and its politics. I would also like to train you orally, by doing some courses, by teaching you to master a PowerPoint and finally by teaching you the methodology of the dissertation, the presentation, the text commentary and finally the bibliography.
