Welkom Student,

Zelf afgestudeerd aan de bachelors Wiskunde en Informatica en de master Wiskunde, heb ik opgemerkt dat er veel vakken zijn waar een gros van de studenten moeite mee heeft. Dit zijn vaak ook nog eens de vakken die het belangrijkst zijn voor de voortgang, omdat veel toekomstige vakken er op voortborduren. Ben jij nou een bachelorstudent en heb jij dit zelfde probleem, dan ben je op het juiste adres. Samen nemen we de stof door en werken we naar je tentamens toe, zodat jij zelfverzekerd je tentamens in kan.

Veel van dit soort vakken hebben vanaf een 'birds-eye view' duidelijk specifieke soorten opgaven die je moet kunnen om je tentamen te halen. Dit soort opgaven pikken we eruit en daar gaan we je samen in trainen om hier handigheid in te krijgen. Daarnaast zullen we je zwaktepunten tegengaan door opdrachten en theorie daarover door te nemen.

Om een duidelijk idee te krijgen van welke vakken ik gedaan heb en waar ik je precies mee kan helpen, heb ik hieronder een lijst met mijn voltooide universiteitsvakken (allemaal behaald met een 7 of hoger). Merk op dat ik zelf in Utrecht gestudeerd heb, dus jouw vakken kunnen van andere namen voorzien zijn.

Ik stem elke les af op jouw behoeften. Ik ontwikkel aangepast materiaal en voorzie de leerling van huiswerk om de leerervaring zo optimaal mogelijk te maken. Elke les duurt 1 tot 1,5 uur, afhankelijk van jouw wensen.

Math, calculus and physics can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when the theory or solving method is unclear. I am a cum laude Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft and have helped other pupils with their problems since 2017. With my calm and stepwise explanation, a second view of the solution procedure is given, which is often what is missing. I tutor a variety of math and physics courses on both secondary and high school levels, but also at a scientific bachelor level. These can either be theory/exercise-based, but also exam preparation.

Ich habe einen Doktortitel in reiner Mathematik und arbeite seit einigen Jahren als Aktuar in einer Versicherungsgesellschaft. Ich beschäftige mich mit Finanzthemen, künstlicher Intelligenz und bin mit der Programmierung komplexer Versicherungsrisikomodelle bestens vertraut.
Ich habe eine große Leidenschaft für das Unterrichten und es erfüllt mich mit Freude, einem Schüler mit Schwierigkeiten dabei zu helfen, eine Prüfung zu bestehen und sein Bewusstsein und Vertrauen in die mathematischen Werkzeuge zu stärken. Ich habe Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Studenten verschiedener Fakultäten wie Mathematik, Physik, Ingenieurwesen und Medizin. Während meiner Doktorarbeit habe ich Vorlesungen gehalten und Tutorials in Master- und Doktoratsstudiengängen an Universitäten organisiert. und Postdoc. Als je moeite hebt met een specifiek vak dan kunnen we samen kijken waar je goed in bent en waar we ons tijdens de sessies het best op kunnen focussen. Een paar vakken waar ik in het verleden studenten in heb begeleid zijn: wiskunde, bedrijfseconomie, economie, rekenen, accounting/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management en investments. Ik geef tips over welke informatie het meest belangrijkst is, hoe je je het beste kan voorbereiden voor het vak, en hoe je toetsvragen het best kan lezen. Deze methode blijkt erg effectief!

Tijdens mijn sessies begeleid ik vrijwel iedereen! Van scholieren op het vmbo tot (bijna) afgestudeerden aan de universiteit, in alle financieel- economische vakken. Hierdoor heb ik een begeleidingsstructuur ontwikkeld die effectief, efficiënt, en leuk is.

Tijdens examentrainingen werk ik met oude examens met een focus op de laatste ontwikkelingen in het vakgebied. Zo zorg ik ervoor dat leerlingen de examenstof goed in de vingers krijgen en met zelfvertrouwen de examens ingaan. Tijdens de trainingen leer ik de scholieren hoe een examen qua structuur in elkaar steekt zodat het zich vertrouwd voelt met het uiteindelijke examen.

Bijlessen of huiswerkbegeleiding worden in overleg vormgegeven. Sommige scholieren of studenten hebben baat bij samen opdrachten maken, waar andere meer behoefte hebben aan uitleg over de theorie.

Mathematics is the queen of sciences, the creative art of abstract logical reasoning par excellence, with ubiquitous applications. Nevertheless, many people struggle with mathematics and find that it is frustratingly taught in schools.

I hold a Master of Mathematics (from the KU Leuven, having previously completed my Bachelor at The University of Warwick), with years of tutoring experience, and am further keen to teach mathematics to anyone at any level -- from primary school, through secondary, up till final-year undergraduate material -- in a motivated, fruitful fashion, in four different possible languages (English, Polish, Dutch, and French).
