I have been playing the violin for 20 years and am a fully qualified classroom music teacher in the UK. With my strong pedagogical background and understanding of what makes a good music lesson, I come not just with my knowledge and skills as a musician but also my knowledge and skills as a teacher. I have experience of teaching the ABRSM syllabus and Trinity College London Classical syllabus, and am able to support you in preparing for graded exams or simply learning for fun! Each lesson will incorporate music theory, technical knowledge and performance skills in an engaging and relaxed environment. We can focus on exam pieces if a graded exam is your goal, or we can choose pieces from any genre that takes your interest to build up your technical and performance skills. I love taking suggestions from my students and these are always welcome! I am able to offer music theory lessons in addition to violin lessons. This will be based on the ABRSM syllabus up to grade 5 level, and I can also support students in preparing for these exams. I look forward to being your music teacher and learning together!
