من أنا؟

Ik ben een marine bioloog met een sterke academische achtergrond in biologie, moleculaire biologie en biotechnologie. Ik behaalde een internationale master in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea) en heb meerdere jaren ervaring in laboratoriumwerk, onderzoek en universitair onderwijs.

Ik heb bachelor- en masterstudenten begeleid tijdens hun thesis, en ik geef zowel theoretische als praktische lessen aan bachelorstudenten, onder andere in Angola. Daarnaast ben ik betrokken bij internationale onderzoeksprojecten, waar ik studenten ondersteun in experimenteel ontwerp, data-analyse en wetenschappelijk denken.

Mijn lesstijl is gestructureerd, duidelijk en aangepast aan het niveau van de student. Ik hecht veel belang aan begrip van de basisconcepten, correcte methodologie en het leren toepassen van theorie in de praktijk. Studenten kunnen bij mij terecht voor inhoudelijke verdieping, examenvoorbereiding en thesisbegeleiding.

Ik geef les in Engels en Nederlands, en heb ruime ervaring met werken in een internationale en multiculturele context. Betrouwbaarheid, duidelijke communicatie en een professionele aanpak staan centraal in mijn begeleiding.

Ik heb een Master in Marine Biological Resources van de univeristeit van Gent waar ik ben afgestudeerd met Magna Cum Laude in 2024. Ik heb ook een Bachelor in Farmaceutische en Biologische Laboratorium Technologie van Co-Hogeschool Odisee waar ik ben afgestudeerd met Cum Laude in 2021.

We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules.
We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step.
Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
