Also, I have worked as a mechanical engineer in Italy at the Italian Institute of Technology (Genoa, Italy) as a mechatronic engineer and as a consultant for Leonardo S.p.A. (La Spezia, Italy) in the quality department.

I was born in Norway, but my mother tongue is English thanks to my British father from London. I have good language skills to learn other languages, and I have a bachelor's degree in education and music. I am a trained teacher.

My method includes oral and written practice, depending on the level of the student and what he wants to learn. I really want the student to form his own sentences and try to write texts. I also have learning materials on which the student can work at home.

(It is also important to know that my French is very basic and that it is difficult for me to learn English to someone who does not speak it at all).

After giving courses in Journalism and Communication in English language for the last ten years I am now settled in Toulouse where I successfully taught English and German to children (7-12), youngsters and adults since 2018. I enjoy working with my students as a welcome change to spending time in front of my computer, working on my publications. You can work on your grammar, writing, speaking and pronunciation. Are you desperate to pass your exams, prepare yourself for an interview or correct an essay?
