NeuroMove: Expert-Led Exercise Classes for Neurological Conditions

I am a physiotherapist offering one-on-one online Zoom neuro-rehabilitation fitness classes for individuals with stroke, cerebral palsy, or multiple sclerosis, as well as those looking to improve their fitness from home.

The program starts with a one-on-one physiotherapy assessment and goal-setting session, followed by eight personalized classes, with the option to continue as needed. Exercises will be tailored to your abilities, and a medical clearance from your doctor is recommended before starting.

We will begin with chair-based exercises that can be done at home and gradually progress as needed, focusing on strengthening major muscle groups in the upper and lower extremities, along with balance training.

I have been practicing physiotherapy for 6 years and am specialised in rehabilitation of sports injuries, return to sport training, post-operative rehabilitation, rehabilitation of back injuries, chronic back and neck pain, knee injuries, hip injuries, arthritis, shoulder injuries, fall prevention in the elderly, and postural realignment. Additionally, I am certified in the Select Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) focused on identification of imbalances leading to injury, and perform biomechanical video running analysis. I have worked with high level athletes and performing artists as well as elderly individuals.

Course will be designed with your short term and long term goals in mind. Course consists of an initial evaluation followed by multiple follow-up classes at your convenience and can include any available equipment you have, or just body weight. In bibliotherapy, reading material is selected as a therapeutic aid in medical and psychiatric treatment. This targeted reading as guidance in solving personal problems is also used in hospitals, for example. Bibliotherapy is often combined with (other forms of) psychotherapy.
