As an engineer, I would like to help other students navigate the sometimes complex world of mathematics and physics. I believe anyone can learn math. And with an average rating of 8.5 for my exam training at, among others, lyceo, I have experienced a lot of others doing the same.

We usually start with some (simple) exercises around the subject to gauge your understanding. This way I can construct a tailor-made approach that guarantees you will see the light. There are, of course, no real guarantees in education. But I can guarantee that after every hour of tutoring, you will be a little closer to the math genius that you really are.

In addition, in the past two years, I have gained a lot of experience in online education. I now have a drawing tablet, an iPad, and an external microphone (worth 300 euros) to be able to deliver the best experience online.

Mathematics, physics and arithmetic are subjects that many people have difficulty with. I believe that with good guidance, anyone can get a good grade for these subjects. During the lessons we look at what the stumbling points are, which I will then explain in the best possible way what is clearest for the student. Exact subjects can be made much easier by applying handy tricks. During the lessons I will convey this in the clearest possible way. Everyone thinks differently and I take that into account. About Me:
I am Shrika, a former IB student who has recently passed IB in 2024. Of the 6 subjects I have taken, I am most profound in mathematics followed by geography at higher level. Currently I am a university student at the Technical University of Eindhoven pursuing Data Science at a bachelor's level.

What I offer:
Considering the challenging math I have encountered during my IB years along with my current university course, I am quite comfortable with mathematics and am looking to provide mathematics lessons for individuals who are especially in the IB curriculum. I can provide classes for Math AISL , AASL and AAHL students. Of course, due to the nature of the course, I am proficient to teach students who are younger such as in primary or secondary school as IB is a course for high school students.

What the course offers:
As I have hinted out in the previous section, the course is tailored to the student itself. IB students don't need to worry as I have materials and classes already prepared. If you are a student not following the IB curriculum but can provide a textbook in mathematics for me to teach from, that is possible too! Feel free to contact me to discuss further details!

If you are struggling with a specific subject, we can look together at what you are good at and what we can best focus on during the sessions. A few subjects that I have coached students in in the past are: mathematics, business economics, economics, arithmetic, accounting/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management and investments. I give tips on which information is most important, how you can best prepare for the subject, and how you can best read test questions. This method has proven to be very effective!

During my sessions I coach almost everyone! From pupils at the vmbo to (almost) graduates at the university, in all financial-economic subjects. Because of this I have developed a coaching structure that is effective, efficient, and fun.

During exam training I work with old exams with a focus on the latest developments in the field. In this way I ensure that students get a good grip on the exam material and enter the exams with confidence. During the training I teach the students how an exam is structured so that they feel familiar with the final exam.

In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.
