Italian is a rich and expressive language, and my lessons are designed to help students gain confidence and clarity in both speaking and writing. I offer personalised Italian lessons adapting each class to the student’s level and goals.

With academic training at the University of Oxford, I combine a clear and structured approach with practical exercises in grammar, vocabulary, conversation, and writing. Lessons can focus on everyday Italian, exam preparation, or the analysis of literary texts and essays.

Each lesson is engaging, goal-oriented, and tailored to the individual student.

The aim is to maximize performance by familiarizing participants with the format of the exam and developing essential exam skills via strategy training and exam practice time simulation activities with a focus on reading, writing, including presentation of arguments and feedback on common error. And if you need to prepare an oral exam or to prepare and present your own project, we'll organize personal tutoring and training.

- My method: I follow a communicative and non-frontal approach in which the student always has a leading role and is stimulated to experiment with the structures and the vocabulary learned. In general, during a lesson, I give equal space to the reinforcement of each competence (comprehension and oral production, comprehension and written production, grammatical insights), but at the request of the student, it is possible to focus on particular objectives. I offer students a wide range of Italian language books for foreigners and the choice of texts or materials to follow will be done together during a preliminary meeting. I was born in Italy, but for the last two years of my life I have traveled the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East, traveling and working remotely.
I am a professional teacher with 6 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a degree in languages, I am certified in international law and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new languages!

Some philosophers write systems, others treatises, others aphorisms, and others philosophical essays. Whatever your "intellectual family" we will quickly learn how to make you discover it.

A) For all Ter streams and 1st year of Univ
Practical work throughout the year:

General introduction to philosophy for all terminal students
1) -Familiarization with the major fields of philosophy (Epistemology, logic, metaphysics, ethics, aesthetics) (2h min)

3) -Introduction to Greco-Latin etymology (30 min)
4) -Introduction to the currents of Greek philosophy (1h)

Latin is a rather subtle language and for some, almost enigmatic, as the style, vocabulary and syntax can be confusing. However, all it takes is a little "Ariadne's thread" to find your way through this labyrinth for the uninitiated. Don't panic! A practical method exists that will put you at ease when faced with any Latin challenge. The delicate syntax of this language will no longer be a torture for you and you might even find it fun to practice reading and understanding texts that previously seemed inaccessible or even hermetic to you. Reading, analyzing, understanding, and translating a Latin text is possible. And even - why not? - writing in Latin.
As an experienced teacher, I offer you supervision (online or at home) taking into account the learner's level and adopting the most appropriate method for adequate monitoring. Online, the sessions will be recorded, if the listener wishes, and the video will be available for revision. You will have the rigor that this ancient language requires, today more current than ever.
