Who am I?
I have a double first class LLB from Essex (2014), and an MPhil in Geo-Strategy (2016) from Oxford. I have been tutoring and teaching for over 15 years in the UK, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.
I can assist the pupil in the following areas:
- Politics/International Relations
- English (First or Second Language)
- Business Studies, Management & Economics
- History
- Geography
- Urdu and Hindi (both scripts)
- Law (Commonwealth)
- Qur'anic recitation & understanding and exploration of Islam, its history and its purpose.
- Pakistani and Indian history and politics
- Islamic history of the subcontinent, with an emphasis on Allama Iqbal

I can also help all kinds of students achieve better results through their written work, for example, university essay writing skills. Further, I can also aid in University applications, for example, personal statements. I have helped write over 65 first-class undergrad essays and 9 dissertations.
Lastly, I am very flexible with what I can teach. Contact me and we can discuss your requirements and the level the pupil is at already. If I believe I won't be helping the pupil I will say so.
What is my teaching approach?
I try to instill into the student interest in the subject by making the subject engaging through discussion and how he/she can contribute to humanity through their work. I tailor lesson plans to the student and go according to his/her pace; and do not move on unless the student has acquired a deep understanding of the subject- not merely superficial or memorization- whereupon they can independently critique and add to the content learned. Reading around the subject and free discussion are crucial aspects of my style of teaching. These, in my experience, are the keys to lifelong learning.
With me, the student will enjoy his/her class because they are intellectually challenged to go further and not consider it just 'another hour of tuition'.
