Hi, I go by Creepie artistically, and I am a recent graduate of Arcadia University and a former student of The University of the Arts, until its sudden closure. During my schooling, I fell in love with how lighting can transform work, and when color is involved, the opportunities are endless. With a major in illustration, I learned about what and how to create good illustrations, but I have compiled my lessons to provide a breakdown on how to make the art YOU want to make!

To reach certain efficiency professionally in terms of intonations, pitch, range, eloquence, fluidity, stress patterns, vocal exercise, flexible volume, uninterrupted flow, suspenseful pause, voice partitioning, etc., even for non-beginners, one needs the right set of assistance...and am excellent at all of the above!

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.

Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Not what you tell, but HOW you tell it is the most important.
The basics and how to use psychology to write a story, this is what you will learn anyway. Those who want to continue afterwards will learn how to write a script. Fiction or facts, you decide what you want to learn.

You love writing and are full of ideas. You are curious about telling stories with images, words and music or making films. But how do you start? What themes would you like to make a film about? In this workshop you will get to know yourself and your fascination: the basis of the journey of discovery into who you are as a filmmaker.

FIND YOUR STORY
The first steps in getting to know yourself as a storyteller have been taken. Maybe you would like to interview others or make a film about animals. Yet you have to delve a layer deeper into the world of your story before you can take a step outside. Everyone has their own story, but how do you go from your fascinations to finding your story?

FIND YOUR SHAPE
You start to see the world more and more through the eyes of a filmmaker. You have an idea of your fascinations and story, but how do you make the transition to film? In this lesson I will take you through the rich possibilities to tell your story. There are no boundaries in shapes. Do you dare to take a deep-sea dive or experience the magic of film?

FIND YOUR FILM
Every great filmmaker started experimenting at some point. In this workshop we will make our own 1-minute documentary film. You learn to sit in the director's seat, dive into the world of editing and leave with your own film. From fascination to film: you did it!

In my art class, I will show you the step by step process of how a digital artist should work.

We will cover the fundamentals, such as proportion, perspective, local v.s global shadows, how light behaves, but also how to put a portfolio together that would awe the viewer.

Each class comes with a homework assignment that you will need to complete. These exercises are sometimes per 1 week, and sometimes per 2 weeks depending on how big the work you need to do is.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)

Everyone learns differently. That's why I teach the way you want. You decide what you want to learn and how, including when your lesson takes place and how long it lasts.

I teach art history to anyone who wants to, regardless of age or level, online or at my home in Velp. You can learn about, among other things, the visual arts, music and literature from prehistory to the present. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. With a background melting classical and contemporary clarinet performance, to theatrical movement, masks, and storytelling, I bring a fresh approach to music education.
