Mobile Montessori Classroom - Montessori education in your home

With over 20 years teaching experience in international schools and a passion for the Montessori method of teaching, following all that has happened in education worldwide, I created a Mobile Montessori Classroom. In addition to a Bachelor of Arts from Parsons School of Design, I have the International Montessori Teaching Diploma & Certification for Early Childhood. This class I am proposing is designed for groups of 2-5 children aged 3-6 years old. I design and create curriculum and materials based on the Montessori method that are prepared and tailored to each child. I set up a mini Montessori environment in your home for small groups of no more than 5 children. Parents and children are involved in the selection of materials and activities uniquely prepared for them.

Following the global pandemic, as many other international school teachers, I have found myself in unusual circumstances as the academic world tries to adapt to the many changes that have affected and will continue to affect education. How children learn and what they need to better support their intellectual, physical and most importantly psychological needs based on the most unusual circumstances they have had to endure, as educators, is our greatest challenge and mission for the present and many years to come.
I have had many years teaching art, am a professional artist, Montessori Educator and have had vast opportunities volunteering by teaching art to children with cancer.
I am passionate about teaching children and understand that given the current global situation in education today, the role of any educator has been transformed and will continue to do so to enable that children are given the best quality education. However in order for this to happen, teachers must adapt to new situations and methods of learning. It is my goal to bring the Montessori environment to homes for small groups of 2- 5 children.
