Explore the diverse cultures of the Arab world, and learn their language
Van 34.55 $ /h
It’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to learn Arabic by transcribing words instead of learning the alphabet first. Think about how we learned English back in school. First, you learn your letters, then you form those letters into words, then you learn how to form sentences, and then you learn more about proper syntax and grammar. Taking shortcuts will only slow you down.
The best way to learn a new word is to see it, hear it, write it and speak it, so combine those activities as much as you can.

When I first arrived to the UK, I noticed there were a lot of stereotypes related to Arabs and their lifestyle. I have decided to change those misperceptions by teaching not only Arabic but also give an insight into the diversity our cultures have.
I volunteered to teach Arabic while I was a student at Bradford University. I focussed more on beginners and focussed on writing and reading, as I believe once a student learns how to write and read in any language they can help themselves later to strengthen their language skills.
I am an open-minded person with a bubbly personality, I allow a safe space for every question that pops in. I passionately have the desire to give people the real image on how Arab cultures function and to do so, I encourage all my students to ask whatever they want to have knowledge about.
