To meet the socio-political challenges of our globalized 21st-century, you need two things: a) critical thinking and communication in English; c) general 'cultural awareness' of the world's competing ideologies. I will lead you to master both of these essential domains simultaneously, using expertise I have gained in England, Czechia, Peru, and Holland.

In our first session, we will draw up a tailor-made curriculum for your current goals and interests. For instance, I can quickly clear up the basic context for a difficult language & literature class you are taking. I can teach you the writing and analysis skills needed to excel at top universities in the Humanities or Political Science. And I can help you communicate well with international work partners from Eastern Europe, the Islamic World, or the Americas. Whatever obstacles you're facing, at any stage of your path as a global thinker and citizen, we will tackle them.

To live and reside in the Netherlands a certain level of Dutch is not only handy but also necessary if you want to have a job. As part of the process to become a Dutch national, you need a basic level of Dutch, being A1 to B2.

I am a certified Dutch teacher with 6 years of teaching experience. Besides teaching Dutch to Dutch high -school pupils in the years 1- 4 mavo/ havo/ vwo, I also have extensive experience teaching Dutch to expats/ foreigners.
I am therefore familiar with the “inburgeringsexamen” and the NT2 curriculum (Dutch for foreigners) for those who want to reside in the Netherlands.

Half German living in Brussels and having studied in an International School, I am fluent in French, English and German.
I am currently doing my masters in Rotterdam at RSM and would like to offer French and/or English classes to students. I believe communicating with students in the language they would like to learn is key if they want to become confident in the language. Hence, I suggest doing skype classes or real life meetings at home or outdoors depending on your preferences and talking together will be very helpful for the student to improve in a particular language. I will also help with homework, grammar and the theoretical side of the language if desired.
I have been a counsellor in summer camps in Canada where I had to teach small children aged from 5-15 English. Some of them didn't even know a single word of English when they arrived. It was very hard but we managed to get to know each other, communicate well and believe me, their English improved a lot.

From my own experience as a trilingual, languages have helped me discover cultures and give me the feeling of truly belonging to a community even when I am far from home. Languages give you the courage to plant your roots in new soil no matter where you go.

Hello!
My name is Alice and I'm from Geneva. I just arrived in the Hague to study hospitality management and Business.
I would love to give French, English, or German courses (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, discussion, reading, oral and written comprehension).

As French is my first language and I studied French until I graduated from high school, it's for me more than natural to speak French and teach it.
Having lived in Germany for a few years and having passed exams I was certified with the B2 Telc certificate in grammar. It will be a pleasure to help with the German language (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, discussion, reading, listening, and writing) as I have been very interested in this language and German culture.

Finally, I can also offer English classes as I have the C1 level and have been living in New Zealand for a year as well.
Being trilingual has proved to me how important, and enriching is it to speak many languages at a professional level but also as a personal one to understand other cultures and meet so many people.

A language is the key to communication and in the interconnected, globalized world that we find ourselves in, a language can really broaden your horizons and extend your web. In addition, a new language also brings culture with it and a vast array of new traveling opportunities.

Hello! My name is Leonor and I am a Law Student from Portugal. In the last few months, I worked as an English Teacher in a Refugee Camp and Greece and before that I worked as a Portuguese and English tutor to both middle school and high school students. I had a 8.5/9 IELTS score and have lived abroad for several years, so English is a language I'm really comfortable in speaking.
