I am a native English and Cantonese speaker with fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, I am capable of teaching and tutoring American-English learners in the form of writing, speaking, as well as listening.

I have previous experience in copywriting, hence I am also able to edit and proof read essays while providing feedback should your work require any! In addition, I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons for international and non-native students (ages 8-12, 16-18, 18-21)with class sizes ranging from 3-10.

Lessons are usually done in all English, but if it becomes necessary, I can also use Chinese to explain certain concepts.

-Work best with kids and young adults aged 6-15, although adult students work fine as well.

I am a fun and patient teacher who pays attention to details. I help students become comfortable speaking simple German phrases and together we will build confidence before tackling German grammar. I am very empathetic and can help you find your personal learning style.

I have a university degree in the humanities, and a translation degree and I can help you with academic writing. I have recently been officially trained as a language teacher with a TEFL certificate. So far I have worked with adult students from Korea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan; with teenagers in an international study group, and of course with young students.
