I studied Greek Language and Literature at Democritus University and I am certified as a Greek Tutor. Currently and in the spirit of my inquisitive personality, I decided to learn even more about Editing and Correcting Text which is associated with Greek language structure at National and Kapodistrian Univ. of Athens.

As a teacher, for more than five years, I am managing lessons plans and teaching materials for the classes supporting that I am a highly organized & proactive person, motivated by the challenge of finding timely and creative solutions to any issue facing teaching processes, and the prospect of successfully executed my classes, which I achieve through smart objectives, understanding of the students and effective communication. An element that I have gained by the close monitoring of experienced teachers that I have cooperated at University and Volunteer Tuition school in Komotini where I taught Greek as a foreign language to Pomaks.

Attention to detail and working to meet students’ needs, while performing my tasks, I carefully review my notes/schedule to avoid any mistakes, to ensure consistency and to make sure that the educational material will adjust on students’ backgrounds and varying degrees of abilities.

To reach certain efficiency professionally in terms of intonations, pitch, range, eloquence, fluidity, stress patterns, vocal exercise, flexible volume, uninterrupted flow, suspenseful pause, voice partitioning, etc., even for non-beginners, one needs the right set of assistance...and am excellent at all of the above!

Hello everyone! I hold a CELTA teaching qualification in Spanish and a doctorate in Italian. I have been teaching Italian and Spanish for more than 5 years. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Spanish for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Spanish culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. I am open to your needs and can speak a few languages to make sure that you understand fully the lessons (of course, we’ll try to use mostly Spanish in all our lessons depending on your level).

Petite précision concernant les cours avant de me présenter :
--> Je pars à l'étranger pour mes études, donc je ne donnerai plus cours en présentiel de janvier 2024 jusqu'en juin 2024.
--> Je continue les cours en visio pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent prendre cours avec moi.

Voilà, passons au présentation maintenant :)
Je m'appelle Katia et je suis étudiante en langue à l'ULB. Je baigne dans les langues depuis petite. Mes parents sont portugais, donc je maîtrise parfaitement cette langue. J'ai également fait mes études jusqu'à l'université en néerlandais. Je parle aussi l'espagnol, le français et l'anglais. De plus, je fais partie d'une association sur Bruxelles qui aide des enfants à faire leurs devoirs. Je vois que grâce à mes explications, ils comprennent mieux leurs exercices, les parents sont ravis et moi aussi.

Depuis février 2023, je me suis inscrite sur Apprentus. Depuis, j'enseigne le néerlandais à des étudiants de tout âge.
J'ai des élèves en dernière année en secondaire comme des cadres qui veulent améliorer leur compréhension en néerlandais.

À chaque fin de cours, l'élève aura des devoirs si l'élève peut les faire avec son emploi du temps, sinon on le fera ensemble au prochain cours. Les devoirs que je donnerai sont importants, car je vois si l'élève a vraiment compris et s'il sait faire les exercices sans mon aide. Je vais au rythme de l'élève et je suis aussi ouverte à toutes propositions d'exercices de son choix.

Ce qui me passionne par-dessus tout, c'est de voir l'évolution de l'élève et que l'on me dise qu'on commence à adorer le néerlandais. :D
