I’m a Ukrainian jazz vocalist, composer, and lyricist with a broad musical background spanning jazz, pop, soul, funk, rock, R&B, musicals, and improvised music. My diverse experience allows me to adapt lessons to any style my students are passionate about, helping them develop their voice in a way that suits their unique artistic vision.

I work with each student individually, focusing on whatever they need most—whether it’s building solid vocal technique, expanding range, improving tone, mastering improvisation, writing songs, or preparing for performances and conservatory entrance exams.

In my teaching, I use modern, science-based vocal methods such as SOVT (Semi-Occluded Vocal Tract), Flow Phonation, SLS (Speech Level Singing), and CVT (Complete Vocal Technique) to ensure healthy, efficient, and expressive singing. We also work on ear training, style interpretation, and stage presence, so students not only sing well, but also feel confident and free on stage.

My lessons are a space for exploration, creativity, and growth—where technique meets expression, and every student can discover the full potential of their voice.

Hi, my name is Sterre and I recently graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been teaching voice lessons for a few years and I love it! Good singing and fun in music-making are equally important in my classes.

Singing is a universal language. Everyone loves to sing, whether you are good at it or not.

In this lesson you will learn to use your own voice better. Whether you've been singing for 10 years or are completely new to singing. With warm-up exercises I teach you your vocal techniques and we apply them at the end of the lesson in the song that you like to sing. We will talk about breath support and flow, ringing, the sound of your voice and how to use it, etc. But in addition, these lessons are mainly about having fun and discovering your voice!

I have been working as a singing teacher since 2011 and I'd love to pass on my knowledge and experience as a performer and songwriter to you. In addition to my Bachelor and Master degrees in Jazz/Pop Voice Performance and Vocal Education (cities of study: Berlin, Mainz, Stuttgart, Lisbon) I regularly attend courses of the newest programs and voice research to constantly enrich your lesson with findings from modern vocal pedagogy.

Over the last 11 years my numerous students taught me that there is no universal recipe for vocal improvement, but there are indeed a lot of methods that can get you where you want. Door middel van privéles leer je op een veilige manier jouw stem te ontwikkelen. We gaan aan de slag met basistechnieken zoals houding, ademsteun en zangtechniek. Ook tekstinterpretatie, improvisatie, performance of het schrijven van eigen nummers kunnen aan bod komen. We gaan werken aan datgene dat jou persoonlijk helpt te groeien! Bovenal is het belangrijk dat je niet alleen kan zingen, maar ook meer leert over muziek. Denk aan meer begrijpen van ritme en harmonie. Verschillende leeftijden en niveaus zijn welkom.

Groepsles beginnerscursus
Heb je altijd al willen leren zingen, maar is de drempel te hoog geweest? In deze beginnerscursus leer je binnen twee maanden de basis van het zingen. In een klein groepje leer je door middel van popliedjes meer over het gebruik van je stem.
Als je na de cursus verder wil zingen, kun je doorstromen naar de gewone groepsles. Wil je nog beter je eigen stem ontwikkelen, kun je ook kiezen voor privéles.

Heb je de kneepjes van het zingen al een beetje onder controle en zing je liever samen dan alleen? Met deze groepsles in een klein groepje kan je ongedwongen blijven zingen waarbij de focus ligt op plezier, samenzang en vertellingskracht.

I completed my conservatory training in Jazz Singing at the CvA, but I have worked in many other genres in recent years. I also studied guitar at the Conservatory and obtained my propaedeutic diploma there, after which I switched to singing at the Conservatory. .

In class we focus on what you want. I can teach you everything about singing, guitar, but also about music theory, song-writing, and playing other instruments such as bass guitar, piano and drums.
I teach everyone, from beginners to people who want to prepare for the entrance exam to the Conservatory.
You choose the genre! I have experience in almost all genres so we can focus on the music you like.

I have 12 years of experience in performing and have performed with the Metropool Orchestra, played at festivals such as Concert at Sea and performed in hundreds of theaters and stages across the country. I also have experience with recording albums and songwriting.

I teach in my studio where all the instruments are present and where we can also record things as practice.

My life is percussion: I play it, I teach it, I design percussion and I develop techniques for it. Instruments: Cajon with hands or brushes, conga, Pandeiro, tamborim, agogo, chekere, udu, pop percussion and way more. I am looking forward to meet you.
