Originally from Madeira (Portugal), I have been playing the violin for more than 20 years. After graduating from Bachelor and Masters, both at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I have decided to pursue my education in the teaching field, currently enrolled on a second master's degree, this time in teaching.
In addition to already having a vast curriculum as a soloist or orchestral musician, I consider myself highly passionate about teaching, not only violin but also music theory. I have been very lucky to have had great teachers, who, in addition to have taught me the violin and the love for music, they have also shaped the person I am today.
I can't find anything more rewarding than to share everything what I learned throughtout all these years!

Filipe lived in Amsterdam for 7 years, where he completed his bachelor's and master's. At the moment he combines his studies with his solo and orchestra performances.
