I am passionate about Math. You can tell stories with numbers. The good thing is that we use numbers every day in various ways, thus the more comfortable you become with numbers the better. I was not always brilliant at Math until I began having tuition lessons at the age of 11. Such was the transformation that by the second term of school I was top in my class. With this first-hand experience of how extra tuition can greatly improve your Math skills, it was a no-brainer that I decided to give back and become a tutor also. I have gone on to study Maths at A Level, a degree in Economics and currently sitting for my Accountancy professional exams. I have been tutoring for 8 years. I have experience with GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths. I always aim to adapt my teaching style to each student. Each student is unique thus I pay attention to how each student responds and through constant feedback, I adapt as required. My lessons are interactive and engaging to ensure the student can solve the problem at hand and thoroughly understand the relevant concepts. I do this by skillfully presenting the material in various methods to offer the student choice to choose one they find easier to use.
