Hello, my name is Machiel, I am from the Netherlands and I live in Madrid. I've been a drum teacher for over 35 years. I graduated with honors at Musicians Institute in Hollywood California. I have always been very active as a professional drummer on stage in my home country The Netherlands, all over Europe and other continents. My teaching style is friendly, super patient and focused on the student. I am a well informed and know what it takes to help students on their journey to become better drummers. I wrote two drum instruction books that I use as a lesson plan for all my students. It's been developed for over 30 years now and it proved to be a successful method for hundreds of students.
