Ciao, I am Desi and I’ve been teaching Italian as a foreign language since 1988. I was born in Trento, in northern Italy, and over the years I’ve lived in Brazil, Sardegna, and now in a small village in Abruzzo. I have a degree in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners and I’m a certified Italian teacher (DILS-PG, University of Perugia). I’m a patient and understanding teacher, and I love introducing students to Italy beyond the usual stereotypes. Since the first lesson you will be *using* the italian language and you will get in touch with authentic material even if you never studied it before. YOU will be the protagonist! Building a cooperative relationship e develop your autonomy and your awareness of the experience of learning will be our main goals. You will have homework assignments and feedback in a virtual classroom that you can access from any device. I work with all levels and learning purposes, like travel, studies, work and (inter)cultural growth.

Using images, maps, and videos, we’ll explore Italy’s most fascinating events and cultural heritage, while you naturally improve your Italian.
