This practice-led class develops composition and studio skills with a focus on creative composition and music production. Using both live and electronic resources, you will be able to develop your music ideas, create soundtracks and original compositions. You will engage your creative imagination and engage with new and historical approaches to new and recent music, and will explore ways to generate fluent, coherent and imaginative works that are dramatically, structurally and gesturally appropriate to whatever language you wish to develop. Over the course of the classes, you will: - develop your composition and creative studio skills - applying these skills to the creation of imaginative new audio work - develop a personal, critical engagement with a broad range of acoustic and electronic music, creative sound practices and current artists working in and around new musical composition and studio production

I am an experienced and energetic composer, musician and tutor offering music lessons to students of any age, interest and ability. I strive to make sure all lessons are exciting and stimulating.
