I am a professional violinist with almost 30 years of performing experience. Having played as an orchestra musician and concertmaster for over 15 years, I have coached a number of students and helped them prepare for exams and auditions. I also enjoy teaching basics to beginners of all ages. In recent years, I have been a mentor and violin teacher for the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra academy and given master classes in South America and in Germany. I am a regular guest member of the exam jury at the Lucerne School of Music. During 2018 I studied music physiology for two semesters at the Zurich Hochschule ZHdK, which gave me a very valuable insight into some often neglected physiological and psychological aspects regarding violin playing.
