My lesson is designed for all ages and levels, from the bigginer to the professional. I would like to help my students to facilitate and motivate to find their own musical senses and cretivity, also fluid keyboard technique.

I was very fortunate to study at The Juilliard School, Temple University as a keyboardist, since I studied under a lot of great faculty members and had lots of professional experiences.
I would love to share how I developed myself as a professional musician with my students.

I have taught private piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities since 2010, including teaching for the Salvation Army Art Institution in Philadelphia from 2015 - 2017.
I participated in the Dorothy Taubman Seminar in 2016 and added this to my pedagogy to help pianists safely develop with the piano technique.
Based on my experience, I will help my students to improve their keyboard skill, reading music and counting rhythms, musical interpretations, and good practice habits.

Praised for her “Delicate performing with pureness, clarity, and sweetness” (the Hancock Herald, NY), Hanbyeol (Han) is an accomplished early keyboard specialist.
The first-prize winner of The Wanda Landowska International Harpsichord Competition, she has appeared as a harpsichord soloist and collaborative artist in many festivals and concerts in South Korea, North America and Europe.

Han has taught private piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities since 2010, including teaching at Temple University and at The Salvation Army Arts Institution in Philadelphia.
She participated in the Dorothy Taubman Seminar in 2016 and added this to her pedagogy to help children safely develop with the piano.

Han earned her Graduate Diploma in Historical Performance at The Juilliard School. She previously studied with Enrico Baiano in Naples, Italy, privately and at Conservatorio di Cimarosa. Currently, she is pursuing her DMA program in historical keyboard at Temple University where she completed two Master's Degrees, double majoring in piano and harpsichord performance with a minor in fortepiano.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

Han has served as the primary instructor for Harpsichord for Pianists and as a Teaching Assistant at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance since 2023, supporting courses in Baroque Performance Practice, Secondary Piano, and Early Music Ensemble. From 2021 to 2023, worked as a guest artist and assistant with The Juilliard School’s Pre-College and Music Advancement Program. Earlier, was a music instructor at The Salvation Army Arts Institution in Philadelphia from 2015 to 2017. Since 2010, Lee has maintained an active teaching career as a private piano and harpsichord instructor, both in person and online, including extensive work in New York City and with programs such as City String and West Amadeus Music, while also creating supplementary practice videos through the YouTube channel.
