I am a native English speaker with a clear accent. I grew up in Surrey, England, and lived in UK until I was 22. After receiving my Classics degree from University of Cambridge I moved abroad to continue learning languages and teaching English.

I have a very good level of German (B2), and some understanding of Swiss German, having lived in Switzerland for over four years.

As a teacher and tutor, I am very kind and patient. I listen to my students’ needs and plan creative lessons accordingly.

English Tutoring for pre-school and primary school-aged children in the Zurich area with a native English-speaking teacher from England.

Would you like to give your child a head start in reading? I will gladly support your child in their academic development learning to read and write in English.

Would your child like to feel more confident with their schoolwork?
Perhaps they would benefit from improving their confidence in speaking as well as their reading, writing and grammar skills.

Small groups/siblings classes together on special request.
Prices include my travel costs (at your location) or room rental (at the Zurich city location).

I was a teacher in Portugal. I can teach Portuguese and Spanish because I have a master degree In classic culture, Portuguese and Spanish as well. So I'm certified by the EE.

I also know very good English because I take some curses back in university. But at this language I'm certified just to level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

TOEFL: I have done the TOEFL exam three times during my life (max grade: 111/120 = native language) so you can be fully prepared to be successful in your exam!

Cambridge Exams: FCE & CAE. I hold both certificates so I can also prepare you for the exams giving you tips, practice, practice and practice with you many tests.

Business English: My first language at work has always been in English so we can have business English conversations to sharpen your language skills at the working place.

For all of this I have specific books so you do not need to spend more money on additional literature.

I am a primary school teacher who specializes in working on the individual potential for special needs kids from 7-18 years old. I am a citizen of USA Switzerland and Peru. I have previously assisted in lower , middle and upper school in order to have a broad overview in regards to subjects and individual growth potentials. I teach or assist in no particular order: German, English, Spanish, French, Social Siences, History, Math. English and Spanish teacher and have a Master's degree in Education from the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco. My diploma has been apostilled and subsequently officially translated into German for the Swiss System. I have been teaching English and Spanish in private schools, from A1 to C2 level, for seven years. I have experience in teaching students with different cognitive skills or difficulties to process the information received and also have the ability to teach a language without the need to use any word in other languages unless required. Not only have I given Spanish Grammar and conversation lessons, but focused on Anthropology, Cultural expressions and Literature. Besides teaching, I have translated material for lessons, Spanish-English English-Spanish, and interpreted Spanish-English and English-Spanish during health campaigns and social projects in rural communities with San Blas Spanish School. In Peru, I worked for the University of Sheffield, from England, supporting a researcher in translating interviews English-Spanish and Spanish-English and interpreting when interviewing local people. I have an A2 level in German from the Peruvian-German Cultural Association ACUPARI, licensed by the Goethe-Institut.

I also offer conversational classes, I love discussing any topics and am interested in a wide range of things, so finding exciting points in common should not be a problem!

In the first class I will establish a structure for the following lessons based on your goals, language level, preferred studying dynamics and desired pace.
