The English Literature and English Language GCSES are tougher than ever, I know this as i sat my GCSEs in the summer of 2018. Having achieved 8’s in both English Literature and English Language (equivalent to the old A*) i am now studying both the subjects at A level, along with Religious Studies (which i got a 9/A** in at GCSE). I have an aptitude for English; a passion for writing, an avid reader and a wide interest in linguistics.
Having sat the exams only last year, i know all the tricks in the books to passing the exam. I have plenty of resources that i can share with you that will aid you in: structural techniques, analytical skills, confidence, time management and much more.

I specialize in tutoring English to individuals whose second language is English.My goal us to keep students challenged and motivates to continue to learn English. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

This class is for anyone wanting help preparing for 11+ exams. I will comprehensively cover verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, Maths and English or any combination of the above. Depending on what the student needs I will set homework but you can also expect to be doing practice questions during the session.

These are English skills for speaking, reading, and writing. This will help children with their studies at school and adults to live and work in their country.

At GCSE, I scored 9 in mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I am current taking standard mathematics in the International Baccalaureate which I am currently predicted to score an 7. I feel confident and competent to support any young person with their mathematical journey. Based on the fact that I currently support my classmates in IB course with their mathematics inquiries and students studying higher tier students at IB.

In my class you will learn how to write effective pieces in English, and achieve outstanding grades with lots of different techniques. We will be covering basic SPAG and writing techniques that you need for creative writing, and also how to analyse a comprehension for details. In verbal reasoning, we will be covering how to think constructively and use skill to understand different concepts framed in words.

Learn Microsoft Excel from Basic to Advanced from a Microsoft Excel MVP. In my bespoke Excel training, I cover all the key topics that everyone who uses Excel must know such as using
1. Basic Formulas and Functions.
2. Applying General Formatting to Dataset.
3. Applying Freeze Panes and Split Windom
4. Analysing Data using PivotTable and PivotCharts
5. Using VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and CHOOSE Functions

This class will prepare a student for their required English examination, (11plus, GCSE or Alevel)
I have tutored successfully for 4 years with all students passing or improving their respective tests or exam scores, a most notable achievement being a particular students creative writing reward at their school in Bexley.

For a creative Writing session, students will learn (or recap) the basics of writing firstly: proper grammar, literary devices and skills to adopt a flowered vocabulary. Then, planning techniques and practising writing under timed conditions, if necessary ( for example, 11plus, GCSE and A-level practise).

I can create a long-term plan to support any area(s) under the English criteria together with the student and parent, sending the work from each lesson so progress can be tracked and materials kept for revision purposes.
