Je m'appelle Serdane et je propose des cours de langues anciennes aux élèves du secondaire qui auraient du mal à trouver à développer une méthode de travail qui leur convient. Extravertie et pétillante...et surtout, beaucoup d'humour !

Chacun apprend à sa manière. C'est pourquoi je n'adopte pas une méthode rigide, mais je m'adapte plutôt aux spécificités de chaque élève. J'évalue son niveau, ses points forts, ses éventuelles faiblesses ou retards, et j'ajuste mon cours en conséquence. Ma priorité est de redonner confiance à l'élève : le Latin et le Grec sont accessibles à tous lorsqu'ils sont bien expliqués !

Je crois en l'efficacité des méthodes d'enseignement actives : j'encourage la participation de l'élève au maximum, en le guidant pour qu'il découvre ce qui fonctionne le mieux pour lui. Cela lui permet de poursuivre son apprentissage de manière autonome.

Op zoek naar een zeer ervaren bijlesdocent voor bijles oud-Grieks en/of Latijn? Dan ben je bij mij aan het juiste adres! Ik ben een oud-docent economie met eerstegraads onderwijsbevoegdheid die zich sinds 2021 volledig heeft toegelegd op het geven van bijles in verschillende vakken. Dat heb ik gedaan omdat ik dan kan doen wat ik het allerleukst vind: stof uitleggen, de leerling zelfvertrouwen geven en samen aan betere cijfers werken. Op die manier heb ik de afgelopen jaren al zo'n 200 leerlingen geholpen met het halen van voldoendes of zelfs hun examens.

Ik ben dus weliswaar een oud-docent economie, maar met mijn kennis van taal kan ik ook heel goed bijles geven in Grieks en Latijn als je nog in de onderbouw zit. Vooral in vertalen ben ik een kei, al zeg ik het zelf. :) Als eindcijfer voor Grieks had ik zelf een 9 op de middelbare school (vwo). Latijn heb ik t/m 5 vwo gevolgd en moest ik toen laten vallen omdat ik anders te veel vakken had. Maar de talen lijken erg op elkaar dus ik kan je ook met Latijn goed helpen.

Hoe de bijles eruitziet gaat altijd in overleg, maar over het algemeen ben ik een groot voorstander van zo snel mogelijk aan de slag gaan met opgaven. Waarom? Omdat ik dan snel kan zien wat je al zelf kunt en wat je juist nog lastig vindt. Daar help ik dan bij. Op die manier geef ik geen onnodige uitleg over dingen die je al weet. Bovendien kun je de uitleg die je wél nodig hebt dan direct toepassen in een opgave. Daardoor beklijft de stof een stuk beter.

Mocht je trouwens een voorkeur hebben voor bijles aan huis, maar woon ik te ver weg, overweeg dan toch om eens online bijles uit te proberen. Daar ben ik zeer ervaren in. Ik geef online bijles altijd via Google Meet en gebruik dan een digitaal whiteboard waarop ik kan tekenen, kleuren, plakken en typen. Op die manier kan ik alles perfect uitleggen/voordoen. Alles wat ik heb op whiteboard heb gezet, deel ik vervolgens met je via WhatsApp zodat je alle uitleg en uitwerkingen na de bijles nog eens op je gemakje kunt bekijken. Superhandig!

Als ik mezelf tot slot in een aantal woorden zou moeten omschrijven, zijn dat: kundig, rustig, betrouwbaar, toegankelijk, betrokken en netjes.

Mijn succesvolle vakantiecursus is in maart 2026 weer online te volgen!

In 5 lessen (van 1,5 uur via Zoom) leer je alles wat je op vakantie nodig hebt om de Grieken te kunnen begroeten, je eten en drinken te bestellen, de rekening te betalen, te vertellen waar je vandaan komt en nog veel meer. Ook leer je het alfabet zodat je alles kunt lezen en krijg je informatie over de cultuur (bijvoorbeeld welke gebaren je wel en vooral níet moet maken) en de geschiedenis van Griekenland.

Na die 5 lessen kun je kleine gesprekjes voeren, en omdat de Grieken het zó waarderen dat jij moeite doet om hun taal te spreken, wordt jouw vakantie zoveel leuker! Er gaan letterlijk en figuurlijk deuren open!
