I always try to translate maths into real world examples that you can relate to AND I try make the lessons funny (it is possible with maths!). The combination will help you remember what you have learnt.

I am happy to teach from the top of junior school/primary school through to UK A-Level or equivalent - eg Australian High School Cert or IB

I am VERY experienced in remote & online working/presentation/training etc. I have full fibre broadband and use a pen tablet for writing & sketching maths expressions & graphs. I have amassed a toolbox of various web based tools and resources fit-for-purpose for tutoring maths online.

assuming it is online or in Windsor (Berks). If I have to drive within 5 miles of Windsor, then it's a little more. Beyond that, it's online or, while I'd like to help you, honestly it isn't worth it for me or you. In that case am sure you will find another good tutor closer.
Informations supplémentaires
I was born & raised in Australia, studied maths & physics & computer science at uni & then have literally worked all over the world in high tech industries, where I have worked as a scientist, a software developer, a trainer and as a manager. I have probably used maths every day of my life!

I strongly believe that education is the key to saving the world & on an individual basis a good education will make your whole life so much better. 'Good' may be down to the teaching resources available in your neighbourhood - which is a lottery! (Hence you might need me :) )

You may also find that I am trying to find the fun in all situations (at least wrt maths) - so hopefully lessons with me will be quite entertaining.

Ever since my uni days, I have tutored people in maths - from upper primary through to A level/HSC/VCE/IB level - and one of my first jobs was as a maths teacher in a 'tough' boys school in Barking (London).

In my work in industry I have taught many classes about many things to people of all cultures and creeds.

My personal style is to always try to translate maths into real world examples that you can relate to AND I try make the lessons funny (it is possible with maths!). The combination will help you remember what you have learnt.

As a natural extension of maths I can also help you with advanced MS-Excel techniques, basic computer science and iphone app development in Xcode & Swift.

In your first lesson we will find out about where you are at with maths and your areas of concern - and I'll explain about how I may be able to help you. We will immediately jump into 1 or 2 of your problem areas, so by the time we have finished the first lesson, you will know if I am going to be the right tutor for you.

I also promise you it will be fun from the word go :)

Welcome to the most popular GCSE Maths apprentus tutor of London!

I am specialized in the reformed GCSE 1-9 Maths AQA syllabus taught from 2015 for both

NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS / FRESHLY IMMIGRATED - no personal background matters. Intermediate spoken English is sufficient, no fluent spoken language is required!
Pupils in age 14-16 – public school enrolment are required or
Adults who are in the government-funded adult education program.

And Native UK citizens with any background.

. I follow the official AQA guide and specs on my classes with interesting, well-explained examples, easy to understand mathematical rules. My aim is help to understand why and how numbers behave as they do. I am also able to teach EDEXCEL and OCR. If the agreed study plan will be followed, I can guarantee a 7+ (A, A* or A** ) grade no matter the previous knowledge or study background.

Age groups, I am teaching:

Under 18 (agreement with parents and teaching at the parent's location ONLY):
- Post-K3 test 14-16 years old who are actively studying GCSE first or second year - bright-minded pre-K3 pupils considered.
- 16+ re-sit GCSE preparation, review and knowledge boost with the extra short time frame as well - even within 1-2 months.
- 16+ GCSE - A-Level Bridge.

Over 18:

- GOVERNMENT FUNDED - First GCSE Maths and English for Students with foreign background - flexible, efficient classes for adults who want to get their first higher education qualification in the United Kingdom. No age limitation!

- Anybody who is over 18, self-studying and need teaching support in order to absolve their GCSE Maths grade.

My classes are not about repetitive, boring and unrealistic example problems or endless formulae memorizing. The most important part of tuition is to support and guide teenagers and adults on the path of understanding mathematics with well-explained rules and interesting problems to solve together.
Why my classes are different?
- My classes are student-centered and never forced by time and the teaching materials. I can quickly reveal the focus areas that we need to spend more time with, but it is always my student’s decision how much time they wish to sacrifice for a specific topic.
- You do not need to memorize formulas! Every single formulae which are not in the provided booklet will be explained from the absolute base. It is not about memorizing things but understands them.
- I always awake my student’s interest in the topic first. I come from a country where Mathematics has been taught on the ‘Asian’ way, so I know where ‘hateful mind grinding hours of unsuccessful studying’ roots from and I can avoid the pitfalls of a boring class.
- I make sure a bespoke, tailored, student-centric teaching method and specification will be applied.
- I have an unlimited source of maths sample problems from different aspects of our life: economy, information technology, architecture, daily decision making, etc. I always want to be sure of the problems that my students spend time with are more than just ‘dry maths’, they are always real-life examples that teach the students to skills in their future life.

Why my classes are more efficient than other teachers’ ones?
- A first-class! It is essential to find areas that we need to spend more time with.
- I am fully flexible both in time and place. I am willing to travel a reasonable distance and I also have a suitable location for studying.
- My teaching time is flexible; no fixed days of the week are available only. I am a teacher with free time on weekdays in the morning, afternoon or the evening.
- I provide all the required materials to start your studying: student book, printouts, notebooks, maths tools, writing tools. You do not need to invest a penny into any physical, the only and most important is your time and attention.
