Learning English is not only about vocabulary and grammar structures. Language is dynamic and fluid and requires flexibility and skill. However, learning boring phrases or uncommon vocabulary without any practical speaking or writing practice is not efficient. To really improve any language skill, you will need confidence, creativity and control of the language and that comes from having a patient (and fun) teacher, interesting materials or topics and a childlike wonder in developing a useful skill.

I have been teaching and helping students for over 25 years and love to use games, activities and lots of encouragement to help any student succeed, not only in language ability, but in social and personal skills as well!

My style is conversational and I like to get to know how a student learns so we can get the most out of the sessions. I have transportation and am willing to commute. Please feel free to contact me for more details.
