If you are interested contact me. The walkshop can be tailor-made for you or for small groups.
On request, we can have lunch together or have breakfast/aperitif.

👴🏻👵🏻 My Sicilian grandparents immigrated to the United States and eventually returned to their homeland in Sicily. I was born and raised in Sicilia, immersed in Sicilian values and culture.

👩🏻‍🎓I studied in Palermo and afterward I spent a semester in Spain and three months in Manchester eventually moving to Bologna where I completed my Master's degree in Language and Linguistics and I have made Bologna my home.

❤️I love tasting food, and natural landscapes, chilling out with friends on Sundays while cooking hand-made pasta for a 3 PM lunch, eating taralli and olives while drinking a glass of wine after a day of work, organizing parties with friends and preparing the buffet and the cake.

My name is Chiara, I'm a native Italian speaker, and I work as a freelance translator and interpreter. I have a Master's Degree in Specialised Translation.

I have been teaching Italian, French, Spanish, and English for over eight years to both adults and children.

In 2016/17, I worked as an Italian and Spanish teacher for adults at an Agency of the European Union while I was living in Strasbourg, France. In 2021, I expanded my experience and began working as an English teacher for primary school children of all ages at Educraft Language School in Bologna.

I fluently speak all four languages, and I use them in my everyday life since my clients come from all over Europe.

Of all the work experiences I have had, teaching children is definitely the one that satisfied me the most. I enjoy teaching bilingual children and helping them overcome the challenges that come with having a bilingual brain.
As a freelancer, I am very flexible in terms of working hours and can adapt to the student's needs and requests.
