He has over 10 years of experience teaching the instrument and 5 years of Cruise Ship experience, playing with important artists from all over the world and backing up numerous Broadway Shows on board as also performing live the music for 3 different BBC Documentaries live shows (BBC Frozen Planet, Alaska in Concert and Planet Earth 2). If you want to know not just about drum techniques and playing, but also about its history and musicianship, you'll definitely have a unique experience with my lessons.

I believe drumming is not just about playing and knowing your chops, but also about being able to listen to others in the band and make sure you "be" part of the music, without resorting to thrashing around and proving to others what kind of noise you can make. Hence the phrase "A band should be as good as its drummer". :)

Drumming is undoubtedly a way of building up your self-confidence, in order to establish your identity. The drums are a great use to channel your emotions, so long as you don't have to pull a Keith Moon. ;)

I can also add keyboards to the mix.... But why is it relevant for a drummer, you may ask? Well, although it may look the contrary from the outside, having an ear for other instruments and chords is absolutely essential, because both your drumming nd ability to improvise contributes to the atmosphere of each song.

From a very young age I had a passion for rhythm, so naturally, percussion was my choice. I've been studying percussion and music theory for over 15 years now, and I would like to share my knowledge with whoever shares this passion.

I offer drum and percussion classes for all kinds of levels. I am open to the needs of each student. (Different styles on drums, improvisation, different percussion instruments...)

We will use percussion and choir instruments, body percussion and ideophone accessories (bells, Hierros, Kilin, etc.) from Drums BEAT I will teach you the Afro-Beat rhythmic marches that will give musical richness to your projects .

I play drums in many different groups, bands, collectives, projects. I have been playing Drums for 13 years, beginning with Rock music and then moved to Jazz where I studied jazz drums at the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana. I teach drums through improvisation. I started when I was very young, at about 6 years old (I'm almost 30 now), with several teachers, and then continued to teach myself in all the following years. I then had an intensive training on spiritual drumming with a master from Ghana.

In the lesson, I share all I've learnt by myself and deepened with the help of my master.
