I am highly experienced in guitar classes, my method is based on teaching students firstly the stone step chords, basic notions of strumming, feeling the rhythm of the music and then using songs that they love to facilitate the immersion in musical environment.

I graduate Beethoven Conservatory as a musician where during 4 years I polished my knowledge about singing techniques, reading music sheets, songwriting, acting and joining pop bands, big bands and choir, which gave me confidence to teach and share my passion with students of all ages.

Leading a 4 piece rock band as a guitarist and background singer. Responsible for bringing together musicians, creating material, shaping the music’s dynamics and expressions during the rehearsals and booking gigs. Covers include songs from artists such as: AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, etc.

Mamma Mia! - Musical theatre:
Performing Mamma Mia musical play as Sam Carmichael character, acting, singing and dancing on the stage for hundreds of spectators, after one year of rehearsals.

Responsible for quickly understanding what notes, chords and scales will be used on songs, connecting everyone’s ideas and talents. Playing enthusiastically gigs at hard rock events getting the audience excited.

I've worked as a music tutor providing private lessons and also for different music agencies in London (UK) including: London Music Centre, London School of Music and Musiko Musika. I've delivered guitar lessons at Spotify (Charing Cross Office), different primary schools and kindergartens. In 2018, I taught Brit Award-Winners Bastille how to play the traditional Argentinian rhythms

BIOGRAPHY:

Juan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nine he started teaching himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums; before joining local bands and performing around the country.

After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand.

In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material

Hello! I’m Francesco but all my students call me Frankie.
I’ve been playing drums and guitar since I was 15 years old living in Venezuela. I continued my studies in an American college for a year, to then decide to get my bachelors degree in Italy; a school called MAEurope (or currently Music Academy), affiliated with Middlesex, ACM and LAMA. After getting my B.A. Degree I moved to London where I continued to teach with a couple of agencies and play as a session musician for a couple of acts.
I’ve been teaching since I was 22 years old in the same school I was getting my B.A. Degree: MAEurope. My first class ever were a group of 6-years old kids; lucky me ha? Well, they were great! The main challenge of having such a young age class was to keep them entertained and not loose focus. This situation gave me the tools to create my own way of teaching which is usually laid back, fun and not with a “school” approach towards the student. The kids don’t even realize they are learning until they actually get home and know how to play the instrument! Especially with young students. it is important to make the lessons fun and not tedious as this experience sets the way the student will look at the instrument for the rest of their lives: boring classes = boring instrument.
These tools are good for adults too. I won’t use childish games, of course; but the ability to keep the lesson fluent and entertaining is one of my priorities.
