About me
I have a Bachelor's degree in Grammar, Linguistics, and Literature at Buenos Aires University (UBA). I have also studied Dramaturgy at the Metropolitan School of Performing Arts (EMAD), among several specialization workshops and courses in this area with recognized dramaturgists as Hattie Naylor. I've been a Spanish teacher at Interhispanica institute as well as in Ecela Spanish School. I also used to be a Literature and Grammar professor at highschools, working every day with teenagers from 11 to 17 years old. In addition, I always have several private students taking lessons in my place.

I started working as a Spanish teacher for foreigners in Buenos Aires for a Languages Institute called Interhispanica about 10 years ago. In the past decade, I also taught Litterature and Grammar in different institutes, high schools, and even privately at my place, in small groups of 2 or 3 students and large ones of 42 teenagers. I have worked with different ages: from 7 to 75 years old.
I am also very creative due to my long background education in different arts such as performing arts, singing, dancing, and creative writing (mostly narrative and theatre plays). This is why I enjoy being creative to teach different contents, invent exercises, or prepare a new way of explaining a concept.

Likewise, I was a teacher at the Velasco Institute, preparing boys who were entering the Buenos Aires National School, the Ilse, the Carlos Pellegrini School and the Living Languages, among others.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
