Having won first prizes in many creative writing competitions and having few of my poetry published, I have great expertise in the field of creative writing that I would like to deliver as a skill, bringing words on a page to life and sparking artistic creativity in monotone language, is an inbuilt passion of mine. Please come to me with any questions you have prior to the lesson and we will clear the doubts during the lessons, and I can set optional homework (e.g. reading & analysis of a chapter/scene). We can run through exemplar answers, working out which answers would receive the A** grade, and how to integrate that form into your writing.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

My name is Chiara and I'm a qualified italian teacher for foreigners with a DITALS certification taken by the school "Leonardo da Vinci" in Florence. After having passed my exam, I have done an internship in the same school and then I have worked here for a while. During this experience, I had the possibility to work with people from all around the world offering them classes that matched their desires: from A1 to B2. Therefore, more than once I have helped my students to pass the CILS exam, in order to achieve the Italian citizenship. Right now, I'm located in Vienna, but I can offer the lessons also online, of course. Lessons will be prepared based on the students' wishes and objectives.
