I recently graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Contemporary Art Practice and have gathered a solid amount of experience through exhibitions and workshops. Before diving into art, I earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Engineering in China, specializing in Electronic Information and Communication Engineering. I know—it’s a pretty unconventional journey!

If you’re feeling uncertain about changing directions in your life or wondering how to bridge the gap between what you know and where you want to go, I’m here to help. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.

Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Whether you'd like to sharpen your style, perfect your oral skills, prepare an exam or just start from scratch, I'd be glad to walk you through the jungle of the French language. My methods are based on listening, dialog and creativity: they adjust to match your needs, goals and interests may you be looking for help with academic French at school, conversational French, or writing tips (you name it!)

You can count on lots of videos, podcasts, articles, songs, fiction and non fiction texts, photos, art pieces, social media posts, TV series, etc. as well as oral and written homemade exercises, tests, etc. to go on at your own pace with autonomy.

I am there to make you feel comfortable and confident and help you reveal your linguistic and literary skills in a relaxed and playful atmosphere. Your questions, doubts and mistakes will be the engine of the classes.

I studied Modern Literature and Creative Writing in Paris and I have tutored students of all ages and proficiency since 2017. I keep on learning as well with each and everyone of my students.

Are you willing to learn drawing or painting? Do you wish to improve what you already know?

I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique.
The lessons are open to all levels.

The techniques covered range from drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalk to all painting styles (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera). You have the opportunity to experiment on different types of paper (with different weights and colors) and canvases.

The topics change from lesson to lesson and can range from the human body to the landscape to the wildlife, depending on your preferences and desires.

Particular attention is paid to the method so that the finished work is clean, pleasant and as expressive as possible.

This writing module is based on a pedagogy that has a sharp focus on writing as practice and craft, but in a practical and experiential work environment. Rigorous training in the processes of writing and editing will accompany one-on-one guidance from the Senior Editors and mentors including myself, and involve rewriting and studying real submissions across fiction, humour, commentary, poetry and more.

Our curriculum has been developed to provide an exhaustive dive into the nitty-gritties of wielding the written word. The objective is simple: to play on your strengths as a writer or editor and help you find your distinctive voice. This is a competitive and exclusive programme, and we only select 5 applicants for each six-week session.

What’s special about WriteBeyond is its ability to give you on-ground experience of working at a living, breathing literary magazine. ALMA MAGAZINE is distinctive in its diversity of genres and writing styles. For those of you who wonder how exactly all that comes together, this is a singular opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of editors, artists, designers and writers.
