HI! My name is Eric. I am Actor’s Equity Association qualified and a classically-trained Actor from The Neighborhood Playhouse conservatory in New York City. I found myself frequently knowing what the teacher was going to say at the conservatory and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience. I have 20 years of experience in Acting and receiving private voice lessons. I’m very personable and build great rapport with young and old motivated to develop their Acting craft or Public Speaking skills for business.

Acting and Public Speaking are both about being grounded, having soaring energy and communicating with an audience. The difference is you are either at an angle to the audience or head on. Whichever is your focus, I will help with fun, professionalism and motivating energy to succeed.

I am relocating to The Netherlands where I will be able to provide instruction in-person. In the meantime, let’s meet virtually to see if we work good together and start the process.

Do you like singing? Or do you walk around with songs in your head all day? Then take singing lessons with Deborah online or in Amstelveen Westwijk. We sing songs from different countries and times. We will also work on different rhythms, notes and tone exercises.

If you are busy singing you can even have a completely different feeling and you can ensure that you have extra energy for the rest of the day.

Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible..

During the singing lessons we also work on articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also on the meaning of and your feelings about a particular piece. My name is Carmen and I am an opera singer. I studied at the PI Chaykovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the famous Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I attended many masterclasses in Russia, Italy and Austria with Edda Moser, Renata Scotto, Nino Machaidze etc. I was also a soloist in the Vatican Choir.

About our partnership with Hollywood

Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting Workshop is one of the best-known, most influential acting schools in the United States. After 30 years of training for aspiring actors and Hollywood stars (including Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore), she teamed up with Belgium's Badass Intensive Acting Studios last year to expand European. The goal is simple: to bring the authentic energy of Hollywood to Europe, so that even people who cannot afford to move to America themselves can receive the same education.

There are not many acting courses that focus on acting in front of the camera. After all, most schools teach you — implicitly or explicitly — theater techniques and while the art of acting itself remains central, it should be clear that acting for TV and film requires slightly different skills, as it usually involves subtler, smaller expressions and movements. . Film connoisseurs therefore know that the camera tends to notice the smallest emotion.

The most minuscule micro-expressions, the least obvious 'subtext' and the most layered interpretations are visible on both the large and the small screen.

In Belgium, Badass PR's Intensive Acting Courses have long been one of the few acting classes that deal exclusively with acting in front of the camera, supplemented with improvisation.

During the lessons, all the important acting techniques are discussed, including those of Adler, Chekhov, Hagen, Meisner, Practical Aesthetics, Stanislavski and Strasberg, but the goal remains the same: to forget technique in a sense and to act as naturally as you breathe. Badass Intensive Acting Studios' own technology, REPEAT, has also been developed for this.

Ever since author / coach / editor / PR consultant Dirk started teaching acting classes more than 10 years ago, he has tried to offer his students as many opportunities as he could. That went by trial and error: sometimes he failed to get something off the ground, at other times he succeeded in his objectives. Those of his students range from developing more self-confidence to becoming more sociable and getting more opportunities to star in a play, a movie or a TV series. One of the best decisions: partnering with the Hollywood Actors' Studios of Larry, Bobbie and Richie Chance - three of the most famous acting coaches in the film world.

Badass Intensive Acting has been organizing workshops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas for years now to enable its students to learn from the most prestigious instructors, talent agents and casting directors that Los Angeles has on offer. For example, the collaboration with Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting workshop has already paid off.

Of course it depends on many factors whether you can achieve success as an actor — a great deal of luck and a lot of dedication are usually very important — but the students at the Chances can certainly say that they are as prepared as they can be. From improv lessons to working with scripts and intensely emotional lessons, the courses cover the entire spectrum of what the film world needs.

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years.
The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing!
During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

I believe everyone can sing, and it is one of the most extraordinary and fun things to do!

Hello everyone!
My name is Marion and I come from France. I have been a musician for as long as I can remember. I started when I was a kid as a trumpet player. I played in many different kinds of orchestras and had a lot of fun with this instrument, but it was nothing compare to my love for singing! This is why I decided to become a professional opera singer and I want to share my passion about singing!

What do I offer?
Classical singing lessons for all levels with a focus on opera, songs, oratorio and choir repertoire.
I am based in Utrecht. You are welcome to come to my place, but I can also come to the students.
Lessons can be taught in English or in French, but I also speak a little bit of Dutch.

What will you learn?
The fundamental elements of classical singing such as breathing, posture and resonances for example but also styles, pronunciation, interpretation and repertoire. An important aspect I want to approach in a singing lesson is how to help you find your own voice, both in a technical and in an interpretative sense.
I can also guide you with anything solfège related like how to use and read a score or how to learn a song by heart.

What is my philosophy about singing and pedagogy?
I believe the best way to develop and improve a skill is when the students feel that they are in a safe place where they can dare to experiment but also have fun. This is an essential part of the process of music making and I try to bring fun and enjoyment to every lesson!

About me:
I started my musical studies in my home country in France, at the Conservatoire de Caen and the Conservatoire de Rennes before coming to The Netherlands where I finished my
voice bachelor’s degree at Het Conservatorium van Amsterdam in June 2018.
Two years later I graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy where
I performed the role of Tigrane in Händel’s Radamisto, The Countess of
Dunmow in Berkeley’s A Dinner Engagement, Arsace in Graun’s Cesare and Cleopatra and Fiordiligi in Mozart's Così fan tutte.
Nowadays, I am a freelance soprano working in the Netherlands and in Belgium as a soloist and as a choir singer. I often participate in productions with the choir of the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Antwerp or the Groot Omroepkoor in Hilversum.
I was one of the laureates of the edition 2020/2021 of the Dutch Classical
Talent Tour & Award, and I recently won the Handel Choir Jubilee Award.
