Hey there, I’m Francisco, a Mexican student of Literature and Linguistics. As such, I have a good grasp on not only our culture but the way it expresses itself on the language we use, and I try to integrate that into my classes; which are usually half Spanish and half Mexican culture, and why we speak the way we do. I have a few months of experience so far, but I’m passionate about giving classes and helping people communicate the way they need to, as well as learn about my country; also, I’m eager to keep teaching since its something that rewards me in more than one level.
As a rule, I like to start with your needs, and your knowledge. The sum of those two factors then allows me to trace a path for our learning.
It will be challenging, and sometimes there will be no other choice left than to memorize because Spanish is a complex language; however. I´m patient, and I enjoy thoroughly to see my students become abler, so don’t think twice about contacting me, I’m sure we can be a great team to help you learn Spanish you need, and the Spanish you want.

Opleiding

Currently studying Lengua y Literaturas Hispánicas at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (also known as UNAM). This degree can be divided into linguistics and literature.

I´ve been teaching for about five months, with about three classes at least per week; each of at least one hour. Also, I´ve given classes online through Skype.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.
