I am a classical teacher: I do not use plenty of modern technology in my teaching. For the math, physics and statistics classes I consider it more than sufficient to rely on pen and paper. In my opinion, in those fields understanding comes from solving problems and discussing. My sessions usually consist of solving a few problems and practicing explaining the steps that we followed. I also give a small homework at the end of each session. I require that students do their homework prior to each session.

Cognitive Modelling: private courses for Bachelor and Master students

This class will teach highly specialized knowledge of how to construct cognitive models using the ACT-R cognitive architecture. It will consist in teaching basic Common Lisp (a programming language). We will then go through the tutorial of ACT-R, whereby we explain in detail how and why each of its components work. This class will be especially interesting to Bachelor and Master students in Psychology and Bachelor and Master students in Neuroscience interested in Cognitive Neuroscience.

Au delà d'un simple soutien, je te propose de renouer avec le vaste monde des statistiques à travers des approches nouvelles (une passion se révélera peut-être, mais là-dessus je ne promets rien !)

Statisticien dans l'âme et de métier, j'ai aussi eu le bonheur d'être assistant de statistiques à l'Unil au cours de mes études. Ce cours privé s'inscrit dans la continuité de mes intérêts, et je peux te prêter main forte dans les domaines suivants :
- statistiques uni/bivariées (bases, tests d’hypothèse, distribution, inférence...)
- statistiques multivariées (régression linéaire/logistique, ACP...)
- programmation (R, Python, Stata, Jamovi, SPSS, SQL...)
- mathématiques (géométrie, trigonométrie, algèbre, analyse...)

Mon cours s'adresse principalement au niveau universitaire (psycho, SSP, géosciences, HEC...) et gymnasial.

Hi everyone!

I offer math lessons suitable for all grade levels.

I am 32 years old, I come from Italy, and my university education includes a bachelor's, a master's and a doctorate in mathematics (the last at EPFL). I am in the process of following a training course in pedagogy at the HEP in Lausanne to be able to teach in gymnasiums. I have experience with one-to-one private lessons for high school students, and I also spent five years as an assistant at EPFL for different bachelor and master courses.

A student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor's degree - in the IC (computer science) faculty.

I have been giving private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences since the summer of 2021, I completed a 3-month internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and basic research in neuroscience. I was also accepted-collée (admitted to the competition but the quota places granted limited my entry into medical school) after having completed a national competition that was both selective and elitist to integrate a faculty of medicine: the first year common to health studies. Very difficult in math, physics, organic chemistry and biology.

I was subsequently very involved in collaborative and associative projects to train students for the medical competition, in the first year. I like teaching, making people understand and seeing this moment of light on the student's face for whom everything becomes clear!
