I recently moved from Fukui to Kyoto to study Japanese at a language school. I love living in this fascinating country. In my free time, I enjoy reading, sports, music, as well as keeping up with political affairs.
Teaching in London as a private tutor led to me applying to teach abroad in Japan. While in London, I assisted students who struggled with essay and creative writing, reading comprehension, and middle school level science and maths. In Japan, I have taught both English and essay writing skills. I also have experience preparing students for EIKEN and university interviews.
As a tutor, my patient and calm manner as well as my ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms has helped students under my tutelage achieve significant growth as well as overcome weaknesses.
