I am Tom and Spanish is my mother tongue. I am a Public Speaking teacher and I hold a Master in Philosophy. I offer lessons of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, and whatever you need, to people of all ages and all Spanish levels.
I can explain varieties of the language as well as the Hispanic culture, providing different kinds of contents (books, music, films, etc.) according to the interests of the students. I can also teach pronunciation with accent from Latin America and/or from Spain.
I try to make my classes dynamic and entertaining. If you want to have a good time learning the language and the culture, I will be waiting for you!

Folklore from the south of the world – Music Lesson

I am Chilean and I am fan and player of the music of the southern cone: Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Specifically I can help you learn tango, cueca, milonga, murga, boleros and tonadas. To a lesser extent I can help to learn Afro-Peruvian and bossa nova.

The lessons I offer can include musical practice, rhythms, progressions and typical melodies, as well as the study of the history of the musical genres and the culture associated with them.

If you want to nurture your career as a musician with other genres or if you are an amateur musician with an interest in music from the south of the world, these lessons are for you. If you are not a musician and simply want to approach the study of the culture, I can also provide books, articles and videos relating to it.

I would love to contribute to the further dissemination of this folklore that I love so much.

I'm a mothertounge italian guy with a strong passion for languages. I've achieved the C1 certification in German and Spanish language after a long life experience in Germany (where I've studied and worked) and Southamerica.

J'ai grandi en parlant deux langues : italien et espagnole et j’ai étudié en allemand.

J’ai vécu dans plusieurs villes européennes (Vienne, Berlin, Athènes, Paris, Madrid). Depuis toujours j’ai eu une vraie passion pour l’apprentissage des langues étrangères.
Au lycée j’ai commencé à étudier Allemand, Français et Anglais et chaque été je passais un ou deux mois dans une ville d’Europe pour pratiquer les langues que j’étudiais, dans les pays où l’on parlait telle ou telle langue.

A l’age de 18 ans ma passion pour l’”étranger” m’a guidé à Berlin, où j’ai travaillé comme Au-Pair chez une famille allemande, pendant que j’ améliorais mon niveau d’ allemand.
Après un an à Berlin je suis allée étudier en Autriche, dans l’université de Vienne. Pendant mes études j’ai vécu un an a Dublin, comme étudiante Erasmus.

Pendant les années de l’université j’ai travaillé en donnant des cours particuliers et j’ai découvert ma passion pour l’enseignement de ma langue maternelle (italien) mais aussi des autres langue que je peux parler couramment (Espagnol, Allemand, et Anglais)

Je serais ravie de vous aider avec une des langues que je connais.

Je veux clarifier que anglais et allemand ne sont pas mes langue maternelle, et que je les ai apprises en adolescence; pour cette raison, je ne peux pas les connaître parfaitement.

Toutefois j’ai bien étudié la grammaire et j’ai même vécu dans les pays anglo/ germano- phones. Parfois quelqu’un qui a appris une langue plus tard (c’est à dire pas lorsqu’il était un enfant) connaît mieux les règles grammaticales, d’un locuteur natif.
Donc je peux bien aider en grammaire, conversation, exercices, soutien scolaire, mais si vous cherchez un niveau “natif” je ne suis pas la bonne personne.

About me:

Spanish and Basque native teacher graduated in English Philology and with five years of experience offers Spanish, English and Basque language lessons (all levels) as well as German language lessons (A1-B1).

During my studies, I specialised on second language acquisition. I am additionally fluent in five languages (English, Spanish, Basque, German and Italian), and speak French at an intermediate level.

Hello everyone and welcome to my English and or German lessons taught in group. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context.
For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. If you wish to invite your friends and make a group with them, just let me know and I will allocate you a time slot.

For private English lessons, please have a look at my other advertisements. The German lessons are usually for beginners/ intermediate (exceptionally advanced levels in German can be organised only if there is a high-demand).
